The "Klamath’s Far Corners" program is an outdoor educational and recreational program sponsored by the Klamath County Museum to help local residents accomplish three things:

- Become more knowledgeable about the human and natural history of the region.

- Explore recreation opportunities close to home.

- Obtain a better grasp of a variety of issues facing rural areas.

Activities include bus tours, auto caravan tours and backcountry day hikes.

Most "Far Corners" activities are free, although fees may be charged for bus tours. Donations to support museum programs are appreciated.

IMPORTANT: Registration for all events is required. The number of participants is limited for ALL activities.

Each outing is dependent on getting enough participants registered. If not enough interest is shown to support an outing, it will be canceled three days before the event date. If too many registered participants fail to show up for an event, it may be canceled at the last minute.

Klamath County assumes no liability for incidents that may occur on any “Far Corners” activities. All participants are advised to assure their own health and safety. Auto tours will be on routes far removed from services. All hikes are in remote backcountry areas and will be physically challenging.
