The
Klamath County Health Department offers family planning services
to men and women that include:
Education
regarding birth control methods (including abstinence),
relationship safety, nutrition, vaccinations, STD/HIV risk
reduction, smoking cessation, self breast examination and general
health information.

Klamath County Health Department also have available an emergency
contraception available to women who have had unprotected
intercourse (either through method omission or method failure) for
up to 120 hours after the incident. Emergency contraception is
designed to prevent a pregnancy but will not harm fetus if
pregnancy has already occurred.
Services
are available at minimal cost or no cost and can be billed to
private insurance or applied to a sliding fee scale.
All
services are confidential.

are available through appointments and other services are
available on walk-in basis.
