Priorities - Crimes of violence

Measure 11 passed in 1995 by Oregon Voters calls for minimum sentence for certain violent offenders. Those offenses include murder, attempted murder, sex crimes, robbery, arson, assaults and other violent crimes. This office vigorously prosecutes those offenses while at the same time exercising prosecutorial discretion when necessary.
