Klamath County Community Corrections currently supervises 102 sex offenders (2/'06) and virtually all of these offenders are required to register as sex offenders. We have two specially trained, full-time Parole and Probation Officers that supervise this caseload. Sex Offenders are closely supervised through home visits, referrals, office appointments, treatment and frequent polygraph exams. These officers are responsible for community notification and often times make presentations to neighborhood watch, CASA, the community college, mental health and other outside agencies, regarding sex offender supervision.
