Instructions for Voting Using the Optical Scan Ballots

1. Completely fill in the oval for the candidate you wish to vote for with pencil or a blue or black pen.  Do not vote for more candidates than listed open positions.

2. To write in a candidate, completely fill in the oval adjacent to the blank line and then legibly write in the candidate's full name.

3. Do not vote for a candidate and write in the same candidate.

4. Every write-in vote is counted, so only write in candidates that are qualified for the position.  Writing imaginary or non-qualified candidates increases the overall cost and delays election results.
